Prescription Drug Coverage

Discount Prescription Card

The National Grange offers 20 to 25% savings on prescriptions for members through Scrip Pharmacy Solutions.  All major pharmacies participate in the program including major chains.  Discounts are good on retail purchases as well as mail order purchase of up to three months of maintenance drugs.  Your National Grange receives a 25-cent royalty each time you use the card.  Members wishing to obtain a card contact DoriAnn Gedris Tel: 1-888-447-2643 ext. 107, Fax: 202-347-1091 or email dgedris@nationalgrange.org

 
Save on Prescription Drug

There are a number of programs that have been developed to help individuals with the cost of prescription drugs. Below please find an overview of some of the programs available and how to obtain more information.

 
The Partnership for Prescription Assistance
 
The Partnership for Prescription Assistance provides a single access point to over 270 public and private patient assistance programs. The PPA also directs people to government programs in which they qualify for, such as: Medicare, Medicaid or the State Children's Health Insurance Program. Pfizer Helpful Answers
 
Pfizer Helpful Answers is a comprehensive program that helps individuals identify programs that will help them save on Pfizer medications. Together Rx Access
 
Together Rx Access is a free savings program that allows you to save between 25%-40% on your prescription drugs. Over 275 brand name drugs are offered, along with many generic drugs as well. In order to participate in the program you must fall under certain household income guidelines and not be eligible for Medicare. MerckHelps
 
MerckHelps provides two different options for people without prescription drug coverage. The Merck Instant Savings Certificate immediately gives you a 10 % discount on all Merck drugs. For more extensive assistance, The Merck Prescription Discount Plan covers all people without coverage, regardless of age or income, and can offer up to 40% off of prescription drugs.
