Welcome to the web page of the Chico Farm Grange. The Grange Hall is located at 2775 Nord Ave. at Rodeo Ave., near Henshaw, see map. (Note: THIS ROAD IS NOT ON HWY 32! PLEASE SEE MAP!)

Meeting of the Chico Grange are generally every – 1st Tuesday – potluck 6, program 6:30, meeting 7:30. Meetings are open to the interested public.

The Chico Grange's 3rd Annual Open House will take place on Saturday, April 17th, at the Grange Hall at 2775 Old Nord Avenue from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. This is an event not to be missed! Live music, community information booths, children's activities, and a potluck dinner will be available that day. The Grange will provide beverages and a meat and a vegetarian entree. Please bring a generous portion of your favorite side dish to share (salad, vegetables, rice, or pasta). Bread will be provided by Miller Bakery. This event is free of charge to the public but we do invite you to either become a Grange member or make a small donation. Please bring your own lawn chair for outdoors and carpool if possible. The Chico Grange's mission is to promote local agriculture, environmental stewardship, and a vibrant community. See you there!

Chico Resolution to State Grange - Going National!

Following is the resolution from the Chico Grange that was adopted by the California State Grange at this years 137th Annual State Convention in Orangevale, CA. The California State Grange will take our proposal to the National Grange to do the same! The proposal requests that California granges return to their original purpose: to protect and promote local, small-scale food production. This proposal was unanimously approved. As new State Grange President Bob McFarland told us, “this mission statement may best provide us with the ‘signature’ that we've been looking for.”

We are also excited to be providing leadership at the state level via the election of Jon Luvaas, Chico Grange’s outgoing president, to the State Grange Executive Committee.
